The historical UNESCO town - Levoca is situated on the eastern part of Slovakia - Spis region. The Levoca town is often called the cultural and historical treasure. With many of historic buildings and monuments featured by the famous history, Levoca is among the most popular towns in Slovakia.

St. James church includes main wooden altar which has been created by Master Paul of Levoca between 1507 and 1517 and is of Late Gothic style. The altar is 18.6 meters high. It is the highest altar of its kind in the whole world.

Spis castle represents monumental structure, the unique one of its kind in Europe. Spis castle with surrounding s 4 hectares area belongs among the greatest castle complexes in Europe. Along with the neighboring medieval monuments of the Spisska Kapitula town, Spisske Podhradie municipality, and Zehra Church it has been registered in the list of monuments of the UNESCO Heritage. The museum of the Spis castle includes history, medieval arms and feudal justice are situated within the Spis castle complex.
