Belianska Cave, Zdiar & Tatranska Javorina Tour

Tour Overview

Belianska cave is a stalactite cave in the east part of Tatra Mountains, the largest and the only one open to the public in the High Tatras. Belianska cave is located above the village of Tatranska Kotlina. Belianska cave was discovered in the 18th century. Entrance to the cave is located at an altitude of 890 metres.

Zdiar is a small village in the beautiful valley in the east part of the Tatra Mountains, above which peaks of Belianske Tatry. Visitors of this unique village can just enjoy the countryside, listening to noise of the forest, seen grazing sheep and find peace of mind. We will visit "Zdiar house" - museum of folk arts and crafts established in 1971.

At the end of the tour we will visit exterior of the wooden church in Tatranska Javorina village, situated very close to Polish border.

• Tatranska Kotlina: Belianska cave - Belianska Cave, is situated in the east part of the High Tatra Mountains National Park, in the national nature reserve Belianske Tatry. The visitor can admire flowstone waterfalls, pagoda stalagmite, pools and many other forms of cave decoration.
• Zdiar: Goral village - mountain Goral village belongs to the jewels of Slovakia. It is distinctive village with a typical traditions, customs, folklore and culture.
• Tatranska Javorina: Wooden church - St. Anna's Catholic church of Christian Hohenloe foundation.

Included: Services of private English speaking guide for one day, transport by private car.

Excluded: Meals and drinks, admissions to the sites (estimated cost 15 EUR/ person).
